    The inaugural issue Journal of Business Economics : Needs, Services, and Money presents three research articles authored by Indonesian scholars, each addressing critical issues in human resource and organizational management. The first article explores how turnover intention, motivation, and organizational culture affect employee performance in a construction company in Sanggau, West Kalimantan. The second article analyzes the negative impact of workload and work environment on teacher job satisfaction in a vocational high school in Pontianak. The third article investigates the influence of leadership and compensation on job satisfaction at a private plantation company in Landak Regency. These studies contribute meaningful insights for improving performance and satisfaction in diverse organizational contexts across Indonesia.

    This issue  Journal of Business Economics : Needs, Services, and Money compiles empirical studies by Indonesian researchers that address key themes in human resource management, organizational behavior, and financial management. The articles examine determinants of employee performance, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, turnover intention, and MSME financial behavior, as well as the role of ESG disclosure in firm value. Using quantitative approaches across public and private sector contexts, the studies highlight the importance of psychological, organizational, and financial factors in enhancing organizational effectiveness and sustainability in Indonesia.
